What genres are we going to use?

 The Genres that we plan on researching are Drama's, Comedy's, and slice of life's. All of these movies being things that we could do for the idea that we have. The idea being the life of a teenage girl that goes through struggles. Anyway that we take it would be amazing. I feel as though that no matter what road we take it, the idea will really tie together and we will be able to make an amazing short film. In addition, these genre's may not be very similar but that just left room for creativity. We have ideas that if we take struggles and make them sad it would really touch the hearts of people that may be going through the same thing. Not only that, if we take the struggles and show them as a slice of life then it will really go and spread awareness that people struggle. On top of all that if we go ahead and show the struggles of a person through a comedy it can show a person going through it, it really isn't that bad and they can pull through. All of our genres were picked for a reason and we hope that it leaves a lasting effect on the viewer. 

I believe that the genre that is picked is very important. It is important to see how the way that the way our information is presented will seriously dictate how the viewer will take it. The goal of us as producers is to have the viewers value what we make and I am terribly proud of what we can do. In complete honesty we will make this film for the people. For the people to enjoy and for them to relate and understand. Our genre will be a major impact on our goal, and how it is executed. Overall in the end we will make the right choice. We will make the best choice based on the knowledge we have gained already and the knowledge we will continue to learn through research.

 I really got to work on my blogging. It is very dumb how I keep slacking off from trying to get these blogs done. I also remembered that you’re not supposed to use the word “we” while blogging and that made me so mad. I used the word “we” so many times. First filming day blog

 Today I started my filming for my water bottle commercial. I feel really confident in my project and I do think that it's going to do well. The person I was filming with was very cooperative and shared a lot of the same creative differences. I am working alone but I did need someone to film, so I asked my closest friend who happens to run track. The sun was hot but my clips were nice. I used some props from the shed out on the field so that I can have a nice video. My main prop was a water bottle but I had the blocks, and some spikes. I also had a sports bag to carry the spikes in and they were really nice. I couldn't  be happier with my project and I hope it turns out nicely and that I can edit this to the best of my ability. I was lucky to run into coach Martin to let me get into the shed and use the blocks because if he didn't, I would've been pissed. Thankfully we got into the shed though. The Motion of The Film

The process of the short film titled "A happy ending" or filming any film would need things like a location, props, actors, health and safety, costumes, a schedule and of course a backup plan. Schedule- As for schedule, we are still working on it. we wanted to finalize all filming and wrap up editing by the end of spring break so that when come time to turn in the short film, we are more than prepared. Location-For Location, we were thinking of filming in thee standard places. A supermarket(Publix), Nyla's house, a parking lot at Nyla's house, an a park with pretty lights. There will probably be other places like down the street but those will all be scenes leading up to arriving at those specific Locations.
