Rises the Moon

 Back to the musicality of the film. Right now my group and I are trying to find the time to film so in the meanwhile I am trying to find music. There is this song by this independent artist called "rises the moon" by liana flores. The song is soft and gentle and can add some comfort to the death. It would really bring out the emotion of the storyline. Sometimes I get scared and feel like our filming wont match the vision in my head so I have to make sure I have other things that can help, such as music, costuming, editing and all those other things. Anyways I went online to look for Liana's record label which is how I found out she was independent. She is also not from here so a lot of her music is not in english, unlike the one that I want. SO there was no email, no number, no message prompt. ONly thing that I could find was an instagram. It is hard to contact celebrities or people with "clout" through social media but I had to do something. SO I texted her very professionally and said this "hey! I was contacting  you in regards to copyright issues, I was wondering if I could use your song for short film. I wasn't able to find a record label and I didn't know what steps I needed to take to do so." I sent that but I still haven't gotten a response. SO there is not much I can do other than find another song that fits. THis happened last year with kanye west but he was also going crazy on the internet lat year so it wasn't the best time to text him. Hopefully I figure this out. I am going to get more song suggestions from my group and see what I could use, I was thinking of maybe queens. That song is accessible so maybe that might work. There is no pain in trying.

  This is my groups first time working together and we think it went amazing. We were able to work effectively and get the work done. We both also know that we picked the right partner, the chemistry between us too was a site to see. It felt like we were in one mind and the results showed because we did pretty good. Not only that this is still one of our first projects it will only go up from here. We are very proud of our work. I hope next time things can go even more smoothly and that we will have more time to record and edit. I love the music we picked and the storyline we did.   INT. GROCERY STORE – DAY Rachel is in grocery store buying produce by her mother’s request, she tussles with the cashier over the price of the item she is buying. RACHEL (Presents onion to cashier) Wait, excuse me! I just wanted to know how much this is CASHIER (Grabs onion and rings it up) Uhm. Sure, let me grab that off you It’s 1.07 RACHEL   Can you spare 7 cents, I only have a dollar CASHIER That’s too bad, go down to a farmers’ market, it’s probably cheaper RACHEL Are you kidding me, the only farmers market in the area is 6 miles from here You can’t give me a discount or something CASHIER Listen kid, my job is to ring up items, take the money and give costumers their food. A musical

 We are doing Matilda the musical! It is cutting into a lot of school time, and we knew by the time we finished the musical the quarter would be up. We decided to go do some filming when we weren't called. We went to publix to get the first scene. It was hard I am not going to lie, it was very hard. Eventually we figured it out and got some kind of scene but I had to poop so bad. That wasn't appropriate but It was bothering me the whole day. Another thing I wanted to mention was the fact that I live in florida, my whole group lives in florida. It was hot. Like it was incredibly hot and sticky and I never wanted to experience such nastiness ever again. We sorta got some scenes. To be real we were slacking in filming because of everything that has been going on but we will persevere. Anyways, we got the Publix's lady to give us permission to film us but she was doing to much. She didn't want to listen to squat and I t was making me mad but I couldn't exactly complain
