AICE Media Studies Blog

  This is my groups first time working together and we think it went amazing. We were able to work effectively and get the work done. We both also know that we picked the right partner, the chemistry between us too was a site to see. It felt like we were in one mind and the results showed because we did pretty good. Not only that this is still one of our first projects it will only go up from here. We are very proud of our work. I hope next time things can go even more smoothly and that we will have more time to record and edit. I love the music we picked and the storyline we did. So I’d better feel the same for the next project. Until next time!

                            (David testing out angles)  David and I did it. I am so proud of being able to tackle editing. It was so hard but at the end of the day I got it done. I juggled in between different software’s but finally found the right one. Today was getting all the final clips and putting them together, finish editing the sound and music video done. I will most definitely be working with David again, if I can because it was amazing. He helped me with blogging, reminded me we needed to film. He didn’t give me troubles and I’m forever grateful for my partner. There isn't much I did today. The filming is finished and the editing went well. David and I are ready to show our music video and get a good grade.  I think the most exciting thing that happened was my phone dying and me thinking I was going to lose my clips. I charged my phone and it was all still there. Im not going to lie, I did cry but it was all good. I will admit I called David and stressed, I was honestly j

 Guys i’m so tired, like exhausted. Today was a long day of trying to work filming out. My partner felt the song he and I chose wasn’t working out so I happily told him to find something he likes. It was an interesting song he picked but I didn’t judge because everyone sees things differently. Eventually he agreed to stick with the song but I was still open to suggestions. Anyways some filming got done today and its all finished. David is great, he cooperated and listened. I honestly have no complaints other than how tired I am. Definitely got some good shots at the park, and in the car. It was quick and easy. I do want to add something pretty funny, david tried to get me to use Ariana Grandes music. Trust me, Ariana is fantastic but not for music videos. It was still willing though. Honestly there isn’t much to say about today. David and I went to a track meet and while watching the meet, and decided on different clips to use. Today was just a long day of school and productivity. I ho

 So today I started editing and it was not that bad. The software was a little difficult, but I was getting the hang of it. I don't have all the clips but I’m still working on editing the audio. The problem with the audio is I’m trying to clip in a dance break but  and the first part if the chorus but it sounds really choppy. I tried adding a little transition noise and it sounded better but not good enough. It’s frustrating because I don’t want to remove the dance break but if feels like I have too. It would be simpler to just remove it, but that would get rid of the creativity. It would be less work to choreograph and teach an entire dance break but nonetheless, it would still look nice. I tried fading out the audio, the fading it back in but that didn’t work either. I asked David to try it and his came out way better. Do you think he is trying to upstage me. It seems like he has been having a lot more fun these days. But he told me what he did, and how he worked the software and

 Hey blog! Long time no see. Im going to be completely honest the first day filming terrible. My phone died, and my actors were not getting it together. It wasn’t that bad because we pulled our weight but I still needed a lot more footage to make up for. The mall was pretty crowded so we didn’t feel absolutely comfortable with filming and it was a school night so we needed to get home soon. My actors are older than me so sometimes they don’t feel the need to listen to my partner and I. I had a lot of trouble talking to them hut it was ok in the end. It was a little cold, and I was wearing short sleeve clothes so it was hard for me to focus on what needed to be focused on cause I kept complaining but it was fine. I honestly kept thinking about how much work I needed to get done, and all the editing. Also I was glad that I had a lot to talk about in my blog. It is pretty late, but at the end of day we got our first part done. David seemed to have a lot more fun then I did. He kept making
