Research: How to make a short Film

 What is the take away from the video? 

I have taken into account all the factors and requirements for making a film. In addition to writing tips, I learned about production steps and post-production procedures. As a result of this experience, I have learned how to better prepare myself for filming than I have in the past. 

 What good information did you gather while watching it? 

Throughout the entire production of the film, budgeting and resources will be crucial. You can shorten a film by cutting out unnecessary scenes until you're unable to continue, thus reducing it to just the highlights. An important part of making a film is preparation. The storyboard may still change during the making of the film even if you create an entire one. Let the story be guided by a theme and a tone. If you do not do so, it will confuse the audience. Lastly, taking care of your cast is important because if you do not have respect them, they may not make it as easy to film. 


How do you envision this helping you through your short film process? 
It has made way for me and my group it has made way for us to establish the appropriate mindset needed to make the film. Not only that it has given us the confidence that we deserve which will all influence our film that much more.

 I really got to work on my blogging. It is very dumb how I keep slacking off from trying to get these blogs done. I also remembered that you’re not supposed to use the word “we” while blogging and that made me so mad. I used the word “we” so many times. First filming day blog

 Today I started my filming for my water bottle commercial. I feel really confident in my project and I do think that it's going to do well. The person I was filming with was very cooperative and shared a lot of the same creative differences. I am working alone but I did need someone to film, so I asked my closest friend who happens to run track. The sun was hot but my clips were nice. I used some props from the shed out on the field so that I can have a nice video. My main prop was a water bottle but I had the blocks, and some spikes. I also had a sports bag to carry the spikes in and they were really nice. I couldn't  be happier with my project and I hope it turns out nicely and that I can edit this to the best of my ability. I was lucky to run into coach Martin to let me get into the shed and use the blocks because if he didn't, I would've been pissed. Thankfully we got into the shed though. The Motion of The Film

The process of the short film titled "A happy ending" or filming any film would need things like a location, props, actors, health and safety, costumes, a schedule and of course a backup plan. Schedule- As for schedule, we are still working on it. we wanted to finalize all filming and wrap up editing by the end of spring break so that when come time to turn in the short film, we are more than prepared. Location-For Location, we were thinking of filming in thee standard places. A supermarket(Publix), Nyla's house, a parking lot at Nyla's house, an a park with pretty lights. There will probably be other places like down the street but those will all be scenes leading up to arriving at those specific Locations.
