FINALLY DONE FILMING AND EDITING !


 Not going to lie, that was hectic. I sacrificed my sanity for this project. I would say never again, but I would probably do this again. Planned better but still it wasn't that bad. In my opinion, our video was pretty bad but it was good enough to want to submit it. For all this stress, I will admit that it is worth it because it's not like I'm doing this for free. Don’t ask what I mean by that. My teachers have definitely been a great help. They guided us time to write the essay and how to film. They taught us how to get the angles, it was great. The students were also pretty nice to hang around, it was just a really good experience and I finally got the filming done. David and I went through a lot like the last day I had before I had to turn it in. The film was very hectic so let me tell you the story. Basically David and I were on the way to our friend Elijah‘s house to get the last clip and David and his brother got into a big argument with his brother and they ended up getting into a tussle. It was so bad and I was very frustrated. Good thing,  I got it done and now the project is finished. I edited it the night before I was to turn it in and it was really good. There were a lot more clips for before that day but they just weren’t good enough and the clips that I have now are still not that good but better than the ones before so I’m glad that there is something to turn in. Its over now, and David and I did a good job. Cannot wait for next year.

 I really got to work on my blogging. It is very dumb how I keep slacking off from trying to get these blogs done. I also remembered that you’re not supposed to use the word “we” while blogging and that made me so mad. I used the word “we” so many times. I fail to keep you guys updated on this journey, that would be bad. I would cry myself to sleep. But yeah, filming has been pretty delayed and I’ve been trying to get some things together. I mean I already messed up on the filming process the first time and the second time and right now David and I are on the third time and just trying to get it done. By the way while typing this I use the word “we” three times and had to go back and delete it. It’s so crazy how I was just talking about having a trouble with using that word and then I used it while explaining the fact that I use it when I should not. First filming day blog

 Today I started my filming for my water bottle commercial. I feel really confident in my project and I do think that it's going to do well. The person I was filming with was very cooperative and shared a lot of the same creative differences. I am working alone but I did need someone to film, so I asked my closest friend who happens to run track. The sun was hot but my clips were nice. I used some props from the shed out on the field so that I can have a nice video. My main prop was a water bottle but I had the blocks, and some spikes. I also had a sports bag to carry the spikes in and they were really nice. I couldn't  be happier with my project and I hope it turns out nicely and that I can edit this to the best of my ability. I was lucky to run into coach Martin to let me get into the shed and use the blocks because if he didn't, I would've been pissed. Thankfully we got into the shed though. The Motion of The Film

The process of the short film titled "A happy ending" or filming any film would need things like a location, props, actors, health and safety, costumes, a schedule and of course a backup plan. Schedule- As for schedule, we are still working on it. we wanted to finalize all filming and wrap up editing by the end of spring break so that when come time to turn in the short film, we are more than prepared. Location-For Location, we were thinking of filming in thee standard places. A supermarket(Publix), Nyla's house, a parking lot at Nyla's house, an a park with pretty lights. There will probably be other places like down the street but those will all be scenes leading up to arriving at those specific Locations.
