Filming Dilemma


 David and I were finally able to get some real filming done. I got all the domestic clips down and I am very glad that happened. But it still did not work. I have to refilm, re-block, re-cast, re-script. Everything is a mess. Hopefully the editing and the music comes together and saved the project. I got into a lot of problems trying to film and things took a turn for the worse. Eventually we will get the filming done. Hoping into the specifics, our main actor started getting lazy and prioritizing other things in front of our filming. That is completely understandable. So I decided to use Elijah. The problem with Elijah is he has not one athletic bone in his body and the film is about Track and Field. So when we realized that, I decided on using David. That annoyed him because he didn't want to show face in the film, neither did I. Honestly this refilm better go good because it has been too much problems that I have been trying to solve. These blogs are also killing me, do I hope you guys are enjoying the journey. Before I go, let me give some good advice. If you want something done right, do it yourself. Goodbye, and also the iPhone 13 pro max has really good film footage. It is very pretty.

 I really got to work on my blogging. It is very dumb how I keep slacking off from trying to get these blogs done. I also remembered that you’re not supposed to use the word “we” while blogging and that made me so mad. I used the word “we” so many times. First filming day blog

 Today I started my filming for my water bottle commercial. I feel really confident in my project and I do think that it's going to do well. The person I was filming with was very cooperative and shared a lot of the same creative differences. I am working alone but I did need someone to film, so I asked my closest friend who happens to run track. The sun was hot but my clips were nice. I used some props from the shed out on the field so that I can have a nice video. My main prop was a water bottle but I had the blocks, and some spikes. I also had a sports bag to carry the spikes in and they were really nice. I couldn't  be happier with my project and I hope it turns out nicely and that I can edit this to the best of my ability. I was lucky to run into coach Martin to let me get into the shed and use the blocks because if he didn't, I would've been pissed. Thankfully we got into the shed though. The Motion of The Film

The process of the short film titled "A happy ending" or filming any film would need things like a location, props, actors, health and safety, costumes, a schedule and of course a backup plan. Schedule- As for schedule, we are still working on it. we wanted to finalize all filming and wrap up editing by the end of spring break so that when come time to turn in the short film, we are more than prepared. Location-For Location, we were thinking of filming in thee standard places. A supermarket(Publix), Nyla's house, a parking lot at Nyla's house, an a park with pretty lights. There will probably be other places like down the street but those will all be scenes leading up to arriving at those specific Locations.
