Researching a Music Video!

My partner and I decided on doing a dramatic romance based music video. Using the song "Cry me a river " by Justin Timberlake. The song revolves around a boy who is being chested on , and he feels betrayed. He finds out the hard way and suffers for it . They go through turmoil throughout the video. But in the end it pulls them apart.

  • The clothing would normally be based on where you are, and the temperature (beach, mall, park, movie theaters) most popular but it doesn't matter
  • There is always a main focus (two people with romantic tension)
  • Background characters who kind of help move the story line along
  • Camera angles really just depend on your creative differences
  • There always seem to be some kind of switching between scenes dramatically
  1. There is normally a lot of over the shoulder shots, point of view shots and 2 person shots. It helps tell the story. The people in the video also tell the story
  2. There are no specific props, because the characters are telling the story.
  3. The acting has to be on point, although the song is the story, if the characters dont bring the song to life. There will be no actually story.
