Filming pt2

 I definitely had an interesting day when it came to filming. I made a huge mistake with casting so I had to completely film all over again. The person i filmed with was so complicated to work with and I definitely will not be asking to film with him ever again. I got all my shots in one day surprisingly but that's only because I wanted it all over with. He didn’t listen and he was very demanding. It was hard to teach him certain things but Its fine. I wouldn’t have been in that situation if I had payed attention to directions. Now I’m dreading editing but only because of what i am editing. Hopefully the editing makes up for today’s filming. I honestly hope I’m not getting judged for this, but when it comes to film and editing, I like to be perfect and if not near to it. Today was definitely neither. I think the worst part was the heat. Its hot and I'm working with people who don’t follow directions. Its not like it was their film. they finished their work. Why were they being so difficult with me? I don’t want to come off bratty or stand off ish but come on, you cant blame. It’s ok to want things to be perfect. Which is why I wanted to work alone. The next project is with other classes, which I'm excited for because I can do my project with my best friend. We will definitely get an A. That was my short but very frustrating filming day!  I really got to work on my blogging. It is very dumb how I keep slacking off from trying to get these blogs done. I also remembered that you’re not supposed to use the word “we” while blogging and that made me so mad. I used the word “we” so many times. I fail to keep you guys updated on this journey, that would be bad. I would cry myself to sleep. But yeah, filming has been pretty delayed and I’ve been trying to get some things together. I mean I already messed up on the filming process the first time and the second time and right now David and I are on the third time and just trying to get it done. First filming day blog

 Today I started my filming for my water bottle commercial. I feel really confident in my project and I do think that it's going to do well. The person I was filming with was very cooperative and shared a lot of the same creative differences. I am working alone but I did need someone to film, so I asked my closest friend who happens to run track. The sun was hot but my clips were nice. I used some props from the shed out on the field so that I can have a nice video. My main prop was a water bottle but I had the blocks, and some spikes. I also had a sports bag to carry the spikes in and they were really nice. I couldn't  be happier with my project and I hope it turns out nicely and that I can edit this to the best of my ability. I was lucky to run into coach Martin to let me get into the shed and use the blocks because if he didn't, I would've been pissed. Thankfully we got into the shed though. The Motion of The Film

The process of the short film titled "A happy ending" or filming any film would need things like a location, props, actors, health and safety, costumes, a schedule and of course a backup plan. Schedule- As for schedule, we are still working on it. we wanted to finalize all filming and wrap up editing by the end of spring break so that when come time to turn in the short film, we are more than prepared. Location-For Location, we were thinking of filming in thee standard places. A supermarket(Publix), Nyla's house, a parking lot at Nyla's house, an a park with pretty lights. There will probably be other places like down the street but those will all be scenes leading up to arriving at those specific Locations. We plan on utilizing each location at different times of the day seeing as we want o use the lighting to help represent the characters emotion Participants- As of right now, our participants consist of Nyla, David, Nyla's mom, and Rashell.
