Figuring Out what Software to Use!(first day editing)

Today my editing was simple, seeing as the program I am using doesn't take up too much of my energy. I had trouble finding a nice audio but I found one. The editing today was more or less revolving around getting my timing and cut scenes correct. I wanted to do the entire thing in one day but that required way to much energy so instead I kind of just did half. I think my commercial will give off pretty cinematic vibes and will wow the watchers. My video revolves around a water bottle so for my commercial to be "cinematic" its kind of cool. I wasn't sure if the software I use to edit on should be different but I realized people pay a lot of money to make edit on apps like Final cut pro, and after effects, when they could use stuff like Capcut or Funimate for free. By the way, I guess since my computer doesn't recognize the names of the software, it's putting a red line underneath them but I added them to dictionary so go me! Lol, but back on topic, I don't want people to think I'm dumbing down my project by using the software I'm using because I am definitely not. I take this project seriously because I absolutely love assignments and projects like this, but I also want everyone else to know that. I know that it isn't about what other people think but I am getting this graded by a teacher so it is kind of about what other people think. At the end of the day I am pretty confident in my ability to film a good project. By the way this is sooo off topic, but while editing I got a notification that my physical form to run track got approved, which I am really excited for. Speaking of off topic stuff, this blog is supposed to surround Aice media studies but I get like really antsy and it makes me want to speak about other stuff that happens in my day but when I try to write a real diary it doesn't go well. It is very confusing. I think the one thing that I am excited for is to see how my project comes out, and the reaction of my teacher watching it. Although I probably wont see it. I just had a thought, what if I were to do my editing on iMovie? I once made a commercial for my middle school, and It was nice. It wasn't something that my middle school would put out for the public eye, but people still loved it. Even the teachers liked it but I still didn't give anyone access to it. I honestly did forget how to use the software but that doesn't matter cause I still do have Capcut.
