First filming day blog

 Today I started my filming for my water bottle commercial. I feel really confident in my project and I do think that it's going to do well. The person I was filming with was very cooperative and shared a lot of the same creative differences. I am working alone but I did need someone to film, so I asked my closest friend who happens to run track. The sun was hot but my clips were nice. I used some props from the shed out on the field so that I can have a nice video. My main prop was a water bottle but I had the blocks, and some spikes. I also had a sports bag to carry the spikes in and they were really nice. I couldn't  be happier with my project and I hope it turns out nicely and that I can edit this to the best of my ability. I was lucky to run into coach Martin to let me get into the shed and use the blocks because if he didn't, I would've been pissed. Thankfully we got into the shed though. The person that I was working with was really into my directing skills, which boosted up my confidence a a lot but I don't want to get ahead of myself. Today was only the first day so I really do have to pull my act together and film so excellent shots on Monday. Filming makes me want to have a career in this kind of stuff but normally when I realized I am good at something, I tend to give up because I boosted my confidence up way too much. The kid I was filming with definitely made the experience 10xs better which makes me glad that I chose to work on my own because I got to pick who I thought was worthy. Hopefully in the future I get to use an actual camera to do this stuff. It would make the shots prettier and it would be easier to film. I saw a group with like a filming stick thing and I really wish I had that. In all honesty it was really fun and I definitely don't regret taking this class. Until next time, peace out!

 I really got to work on my blogging. It is very dumb how I keep slacking off from trying to get these blogs done. I also remembered that you’re not supposed to use the word “we” while blogging and that made me so mad. I used the word “we” so many times. I fail to keep you guys updated on this journey, that would be bad. I would cry myself to sleep. But yeah, filming has been pretty delayed and I’ve been trying to get some things together. I mean I already messed up on the filming process the first time and the second time and right now David and I are on the third time and just trying to get it done. By the way while typing this I use the word “we” three times and had to go back and delete it. It’s so crazy how I was just talking about having a trouble with using that word and then I used it while explaining the fact that I use it when I should not. The Motion of The Film

The process of the short film titled "A happy ending" or filming any film would need things like a location, props, actors, health and safety, costumes, a schedule and of course a backup plan. Schedule- As for schedule, we are still working on it. we wanted to finalize all filming and wrap up editing by the end of spring break so that when come time to turn in the short film, we are more than prepared. Location-For Location, we were thinking of filming in thee standard places. A supermarket(Publix), Nyla's house, a parking lot at Nyla's house, an a park with pretty lights. There will probably be other places like down the street but those will all be scenes leading up to arriving at those specific Locations.
